A continuation of my sock paintings. This time it has a beautiful creative collaborative story. A wonderful lady knitted the socks you see in this painting, based on a much older drawing I created. Including wonderful detail such as the folded cuff. I popped the socks on and took a stance I usually would which is one by where I rest on the outsides of my feet. My husband will often spot me doing this and press my foot flat again. He is one of the most grounded people I know, rational and not anxious, unlike me and my feet resting on their sides.

It is painted on board measuring approximately 40cm square. The artwork is framed in a deep edge black tray frame, the frame is approximately 5cm deep and has just a thin 5mm profile visible from the front.

The Artwork is hand signed by the Artist.
