I asked my daughter what I should name the painting and she said “Power” which is exactly what i had in my head as well.

I have worked from this reference before, but the other painting had a very different feel. I wanted this one to convey childhood in more than one way. I have used chalk to scribble and fill in the dress area. I have vivid memories of using chalk at school, and chalk still being used to write on the board in class. It was always a treat to be able to go up to the front and write on the board with chalk as well.

It is painted on canvas mounted on board measuring approximately 50cm x 50cm.

The Artwork is hand signed by the Artist.
